State Farm presents the
Chicago Latino Network 2013 Breakfast Series

The topic for the breakfast is Marketing. Led by industry experts, this panel will address current marketing practices and trends. Get a good overview of the state of marketing today. Many believe that marketing is entering a new golden age, with marketers being asked to take bigger and bigger roles within their organizations. Marketing is more likely to have a "seat at the table," seems to be better aligned than ever with sales and appears to be increasingly influential with IT, HR, R&D/innovation, finance, the C-suite and board directors. Our panelists will discuss the reality and scope of this trend. To set the stage for what lies ahead, our panelists will share their perspectives and experiences from both practice and research. Their story lines, and the trends that drive them, will provide vivid testimony of the momentous transition under way in marketing.

Brand strategy...brand positioning...brand attributes...brand identity. See how these marketing professionals have used brand principles and unexpected marketing and communication efforts to shape distinct experiences in a highly commoditized industry.

This event also serves as an opportunity for attendees to exchange ideas, discuss emerging research, and be informed of current strategic and global trends. You can expect valuable networking with colleagues; and great panelists sharing actionable information.
