Chief Contract Compliance Officer

United Charter School Network, Inc. (UCSN)

Position Overview

Consistent with the strategic priorities of the United Charter School Network, Inc. ("UCSN"), performs professional work in a time sensitive and changing environment in the monitoring, management and development of contractual relationships for UCSN. This executive management position serves as the principal contract official for UCSN and shall oversee the management of UCSN contracts including management over all aspects of the current Management Agreement with the United Neighborhood Organization of Chicago (UNO) on behalf of the UCSN Board of Directors (the “Board”).

Responsibilities include providing professional support and sound contractual advice to the Board and all stakeholders involving contractual services, consultants, equipment, supplies, construction, capital improvements and maintenance and other activities subject to contract. Substantial reporting to the Board regarding all ongoing and anticipated procurement activity is required. The Chief Contract Compliance Officer may seek direct approval or provide assistance to business units seeking approval for contracts in accordance with the UCSN Procurement Policy.

Customer Service Representative

Purpose:
Efficiently provide excellent customer service support to external and internal customers. Answer and respond to all phone calls on a timely manner. Accurately process all customer orders.

Department: Customer Service

Reports To: Customer Service Manager

Required Duties:
  • Answer and respond to customer phone calls promptly and accurately
  • Enter customer orders into system
  • Assist with paperwork - process, organize and file
  • Review credits/invoices of returned product for accuracy
  • Must be able to communicate with customers, sales teams, drivers, customer service team and any other department as needed
Must be able to:
  • Live and demonstrate the Wirtz Ways of Working (values).

  • Good multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Display general office skills to operate copy machine, fax machine, scanner, etc.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail. Must be able to identify mistakes and correct them

  • Demonstrate excellent keyboarding / typing skills
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office -Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Required Skills:
  • College Degree - B.A./B.S. preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in related area
  • 10-Key by touch
  • Type 50 WPM
  • Excellent MS Office skills
Physical Demands of Job:
  • Frequent hand motion with answering and dialing phones and computer
  • Occasional carrying, overhead reaching and lifting of 15 pounds to perform various duties as assigned
  • Occasional immediate reaching to perform various office duties as assigned
  • Occasional standing for short amounts of time to perform various duties
  • Occasional walking for short amounts of time to perform various duties
  • Extended sitting for long periods of time at desk or workstation

Merchandiser

Purpose:
Drive volume and profit growth in account and support salesperson in merchandising activities.

Department: Sales

Reports To: District Manager

Required Duties:
  • Communicate merchandising tactics to accounts
  • Pack out shelves, build and refresh displays, place POS, stock cold box
  • Coordinate product resets
  • Obtain feedback from accounts on effectiveness of consumer programming and report trends to management
  • Correct delivery discrepancies
  • Coordinate timing of merchandising activities with salesperson and key account manager
  • Continual development of industry, channel and brand knowledge
  • Other duties as assigned

Sales Associate

Purpose:
To meet or exceed pre-determined service expectations while selling product, merchandising and fulfilling route management objectives in order to drive volume and profit growth in accounts.

Department: Sales

Reports To: District Manager

Required Duties:
  • Plan and execute a daily schedule of sales call on a pre-determined route (route schedule)
  • Effectively plan on a daily, weekly, or monthly/quarterly basis with quota and distribution objectives
  • Communicate through voicemail, email and proper follow through on issues deemed important to management, our customers and suppliers
  • Be present and punctual for mandatory sales meetings and brand kick-offs
  • Report on issues related to the competitive market and offer constructive suggestions
  • Work with suppliers representatives and managers in the field to promote sales
  • Meet with each account/store manager on a regular basis (weekly)
  • Service and improve the marketability of our products through shelf management, display position and frequency, concept selling and price point management
  • Communicate merchandising tactics to accounts
  • Pack out shelves, build and refresh displays, place POS and stock cold box
  • Obtain feedback from accounts on effectiveness of consumer programming and report trends to management
  • Correct delivery discrepancies
