Community Alternatives Unlimited is a private not-for-profit organization, operating as a licensed Maternal/Child Health organization and a licensed provider of services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are currently interviewing for an immediate opening.
The ideal candidate will be excited to join and collaborate with our CAU Professionals in a family friendly work place providing screenings, assessments, referrals, advocacy, and follow-up for clients as needed. This person will be required to make home visits, EPDS mental health screenings.
CAU in turn provides a professional and interactive learning environment with the social and medical fields of service. In addition you will receive a competitive salary/benefit package.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) or Master’s Degree in any of the following:
Counseling Psychology
Human Services with Counseling
MSW
Public Health
Bilingual in Spanish/English
Exposure/experience working with pregnant women, children 0-6 yrs and families
Ability to establish good rapport with families and handle difficult topics
Desirable
Knowledge of DHS, prenatal care, infant dev., early intervention, community & supports. Exposure with community health, maternal and child health care. Strong data entry skills/attention to detail.
